Every commercial lifting job, from a mixed fleet to a 35,000kg artic.
Liftmaster supplies four types of commercial vehicle lift for HGV, PSV, bus and fleet workshops. The current range starts at 2,500kg per mobile column and extends to 35,000kg parallelogram lifts. The lift is specified around the vehicles, bay layout and site conditions before installation.
Four ranges, one supplier
Mobile columns suit flexible or shared workshop space. Four-post, scissor and parallelogram lifts create a fixed lifting bay. The choice depends on the vehicle mix, required capacity, workshop layout and floor construction.
Mobile column lifts
Wireless columns can be positioned around the vehicle without a permanently occupied lift bay. Sets can be configured for rigids, buses, artics and multi-axle vehicles within the supported column arrangement.
4-post lifts
Surface-mounted drive-on lifts provide a fixed inspection and service bay. The current range includes runways up to 9,000mm, with jacking equipment available for wheels-free work where specified.
Scissor lifts
Recessed full-rise scissor lifts sit flush with the workshop floor when lowered and leave the vehicle sides free from columns or overhead structure.
Parallelogram lifts
Recessed parallelogram lifts cover the heaviest applications in the range. Current platform lengths run up to 14,500mm, with the range extending to 35,000kg.
Which lift for which bay
The lift is chosen around what the workshop lifts, whether the bay is dedicated or shared, and what the floor and site will take.
What do you lift, and how varied is it?
A mixed fleet or a workshop that needs to move lifting capacity between bays may suit mobile columns. Repeated work on similar vehicles may favour a fixed lift.
Is the bay dedicated or shared?
A four-post lift stays in a permanent drive-on bay. Recessed scissor and parallelogram lifts can leave the floor clear when lowered.
What will the floor take?
Recessed equipment depends on the existing floor, drainage and site layout. Liftmaster checks the relevant site conditions before the lift is ordered.
Installation and LOLER
Liftmaster surveys the site, installs and commissions the lift, and completes the applicable handover work. LOLER thorough examination is carried out for lifting equipment where required, with the examination report issued separately from routine servicing. Ongoing service and breakdown support are provided through Liftmaster’s own engineers and trusted subcontractors.
Floor, power and drainage checked against the equipment spec.
Installed and commissioned, with LOLER thorough examination where it applies.
Planned servicing and callout through our own engineers and trusted subcontractors.
Tell us the vehicles and the bay. We will spec the lift.
Send the vehicle types, bay layout and how the lift will be used. The Commercial team can narrow the requirement to the appropriate lift range and provide a quotation and installation plan.
