Installed and serviced by our engineers.
Liftmaster supports the commercial workshop and testing equipment it supplies through site survey, installation, commissioning, planned servicing, breakdown support and the statutory or calibration work that applies to the equipment. Nationwide coverage uses Liftmaster’s own engineers and trusted subcontractors.
From survey to service life
The service requirement depends on the equipment. Lift installation and LOLER thorough examination are different from brake-tester or test-lane calibration, and planned maintenance remains a separate service activity.
Installation & commissioning
Liftmaster checks the relevant site conditions against the equipment specification before installation. The equipment is then installed and commissioned to the requirements that apply to it. Lifting equipment is handed over with the relevant examination documentation where applicable; commercial test equipment is calibrated or commissioned as required by its use.
LOLER thorough examination
Commercial lifting equipment requires a thorough examination under LOLER at the applicable interval. Liftmaster carries out the examination, issues the written report and identifies defects or actions recorded during the examination.
Planned servicing & callout
Liftmaster can schedule planned servicing for supported commercial equipment and arrange breakdown callout when a fault occurs. Coverage is delivered through Liftmaster’s own engineers and trusted subcontractors; no fixed attendance time or SLA is implied by this page.
Equipment covered by Commercial service
Commercial vehicle lifts, brake testers, play detectors and test-lane equipment supplied by Liftmaster can be supported after installation. If the site has existing equipment that Liftmaster did not supply, the service team should confirm support before a service commitment is made.
Vehicle lifts
Mobile column, four-post, scissor and parallelogram lifts, with servicing and LOLER thorough examination where applicable.
Brake testers
Fixed and mobile commercial brake-testing equipment, with calibration and servicing to the requirements that apply.
Play detectors
Commercial play detection equipment used in HGV, PSV and ATF lanes.
Test lanes
ATF lanes and Class 5 bay equipment supported as individual systems rather than treated as one generic service interval.
Nationwide service coverage
Liftmaster has supplied and serviced workshop equipment since 1985. Commercial service coverage is provided through Liftmaster’s own engineers and trusted subcontractors, backed by the wider parts and technical operation.
