The Ranger RL-8500XLT is a super-duty combination disc and drum brake lathe built for workshops that need more reach than a standard lathe can give. Its extended-capacity spindle turns drums up to 254 mm deep, supported by a relocated rear bushing that stiffens the arbor under load, while independent DC servo motors drive the cross feed and spindle feed without the gearboxes and transmissions of mechanically driven machines. Suitable for brake specialists, dealerships and fleet workshops, it arrives complete with a steel bench, tool storage backboards and a full standard adapter package.
