Liftmaster was founded in 1985 and remains family-owned. The company supplies vehicle lifts, MOT bay equipment and workshop equipment to garages across the UK.
The business now operates three trading divisions covering automotive, commercial and home equipment. Liftmaster’s engineers handle installation, servicing and LOLER examination.

Our Story
How Liftmaster
developed.
From a family start-up in 1985 to a supplier working with garages the length of the country, still run by the same family.
Liftmaster was founded in 1985 by people who had already spent years working in the garage equipment trade.
In 2000, the business began its partnership with BendPak and became the sole UK distributor for BendPak vehicle lifts and workshop equipment.
As the equipment range grew, Liftmaster developed its own installation and service teams. That allowed the same business to specify, supply, install and maintain the equipment, including LOLER examination.
Today, Liftmaster operates three trading divisions and works with garages nationwide. The business remains family-owned and is still run by the Skinner family.
