Choosing a Majorlift jacking beam
What decides the right model for the bay.
Capacity
Jacking beams run from 2,000kg to 6,000kg and pit jacks from 12 to 40 tonnes. The beam should be rated for the heaviest axle it will raise.
Air or manual
MPJ jacking beams are air operated and HPJ models are manually operated, so the choice depends on whether an air supply is available at the bay.
Frame width
Narrow-frame versions of the 2,000kg and 2,800kg beams are available where the lift runways or pit are narrower than standard.
Lift or pit
Liftmaster can check the lift or pit dimensions and the vehicles being tested before recommending a Majorlift model.
