ASARS arm restraint, on every AP Series lift
BendPak AP Series two-post lifts use ASARS, the Automatic Swing Arm Restraint System. The restraint locks the swing arms automatically as the lift rises rather than relying on manual adjustment between vehicles.
The BendPak specification is a fully enclosed 140mm gear hat with 64 locking teeth around the perimeter, in contrast to conventional arm-restraint designs that engage a smaller number of teeth.
