Build Your Workshop

Moving aroundDrag empty space to turn the view. Right-drag, Shift-drag or Move view slides it across the floor. Scroll or pinch to zoom. Drag equipment to move it.Fit to workshop brings the whole workshop back into view. Moving the view never moves your equipment.Zones and rooms: click one to select it, then drag inside it to move it or drag a corner or edge handle to resize it (arrow keys nudge it, Delete removes it). Exact sizes are in Your workshop. Add rooms, internal walls and personnel doors under Rooms & internal walls; walls are cut away to 1.2 m so you can see the equipment (switch to full height there). Zones are planning labels; rooms and walls are physical and are checked against your equipment.Several items: Shift-, Ctrl- or Cmd-click them (or tick them in Your workshop, or use “Select several” on a touch screen), then line them up, space them evenly, turn them or duplicate them together. “Make a working bay” keeps a lift and its equipment together. The ruler button snaps dragged equipment to a grid.Keyboard (click the scene first): with nothing selected, arrows slide the view and + / − zoom. N / Shift+N select next or previous; with an item selected, arrows move it 10 cm (Shift: 50 cm), R / Shift+R rotate 15°, D duplicates, Delete removes, Esc deselects. With a zone, room, wall or door selected, arrows move it and Delete removes it. Ctrl+Z undo.

Entrance and workshop Optional

In your workshop. Mark columns, fixed obstructions and areas to keep clear. Drag them into place and set their size when selected.

Groundworks (optional). Mark proposed concrete foundation pads or floor recesses, flush with the finished floor. Select a four-post lift or a surrounding lift for “Add pads beneath lift”: its pads take Liftmaster’s standard size for that lift’s type and capacity and move with it. Final specification to be confirmed by Liftmaster.

Workshop zones

Mark how you plan to use each part of the floor. Zones are labels for planning with our team, not safety boundaries.

Pipes and drains Optional

Mark vertical pipes on your walls and drains in the floor. They are planning marks with illustrative sizes you can change, not products.

A new pipe goes on the far end wall. Select a room or partition first to put it there. Drag a pipe along its wall, or choose another wall when it is selected. Drains sit flush with the floor; falls and pipework are not shown.

Groundworks Optional

Mark proposed concrete foundation pads and floor recesses. Both are flush with the finished floor and go down into it. Select a two-post or four-post lift and use “Add pads beneath lift”: its pads are sized to Liftmaster’s standard for that lift’s type and capacity, and move with the lift. Hand-placed pads take any size you set.

Pads are never required. “Align to pads” moves a lift onto hand-placed pads. Final specification to be confirmed by Liftmaster.
